About the product:
Thai guavas are larger in size and can be as large as a football. They have a green outer covering and a white flesh with pale yellow seeds embedded in them. The skin can be a bit bumpy. The thai guavas are mildly sweet and do not have a strong fragrance as such. Moreover, they are a bit drier than their pink counterparts. All the parts of this fruit from skin o seeds are edible.
They are available in the transitioning season of fall and spring. Thai guavas in themselves have a large variety and they are known as “Farang” in Thai which means Foreigner or an item that has western import into Thai culture.
